Stratf0rd-The October meeting of the Stratford City Council will be this Monday evening at 7:00 in the Stratford City Hall at 805 Shakespeare. The council members will consider an approval from Bolton and Menk with their invoice of $855 for the work on the Stratford Municipal Pool leak using LOSST funds. The Urban Renewal Report for Fiscal Year 2025 will be approved by the city council. The nomination for the Iowa Rural Water Association Board of Directors will be considered. Molly Vaughn will be hired as Stratford’s new Deputy City Clerk with a starting rate of$17.00 per hour. In other matters this Monday, the Stratford City Council will discuss the Stratford Code on fencing and an update on the Stratford Pool leak repair project plus other matters that may come before the council
