A longtime Eagle Grove police chief announced this week he will be handing in his badge as he will be retiring. Ray Beltran spoke to the Eagle Grove City Council on his retirement. Beltran has been with the Eagle Grove Police Department since 2013. Beltran thanked the city and fellow officers through the years. The Eagle Grove City Council will begin the task for finding Beltran’s replacement. A reception to honor Ray Beltran is set for next Friday,October 17th.
