Webster City Police were summoned late Wednesday morning to a report of car pickup accident at Elm Street and Willson Avenue. Reportedly a northbound 2012 model Chevrolet Sonic car driven by Amy Jo Anderson of Webster City struck an eastbound 2020 model Chevrolet Colorado LT pickup driven by Duane Vavroch of Jewell who was crossing the street at the time of the accident. The damage to the Vavroch pickup was estimated at $3000 with the damage to the Anderson car estimated at $2000. The accident was investigated by Webster City Police officer Ryan Basinger.
