A structure fire sent the members of the Fort Dodge Fire Department into action Sunday morning at 7:41 a.m. When the fire trucks arrived, flames and smoke was originating from old Priest quarters next to Corpus Christi Church at 402 North 8th Street. Fire crews used multiple hand lines to extinguish flames inside the structure as well as an exterior in the rear of the building. There were no occupants inside the structure and no injuries. Sunday morning’s fire appears to have been intentionally set. The cause remains under investigation by Fort Dodge authorities. Fire trucks remained on the scene through the morning hours.
