The Eagle Grove Eagles volleyball team returned to action on Tuesday night, as they hosted the Garner-Hayfield-Ventura Cardinals in Top of Iowa West action at Eagle Grove Elementary School. Eagle Grove entered at 4-10 and 2-4 in league play, while GHV entered at 10-5 and 5-2 in league play.
GHV would control the opening set for a 25-18 victory, keeping a consistent grip into the 2nd set for a 25-16 win to go ahead 2-0. Eagle Grove would battle in set 3, but could not get over the hump as GHV picked up a 25-20 win and a 3-0 sweep.
Stats were not available on Bound as of Wednesday morning, Eagle Grove volleyball returns to action next Tuesday, when they travel to Armstrong to take on North Union in Top of Iowa West action with first serve at 7 PM.
