JEWELL — The South Hamilton Hawks volleyball team returned to action on Thursday night, as they hosted the Saydel Eagles in Heart of Iowa Conference action on Jim Marsh Court at South Hamilton High School. South Hamilton entered at 12-10, while Saydel entered at 1-7.
Set 1 would be back-and-forth to begin, as Saydel led 12-11 at one juncture, before South Hamilton would go on a big run to help take the set by a score of 25-21. The Hawks then dominated set 2 wire-to-wire for a 25-11 win, before the Hawks kept the Eagles at arms length in set 3 to grab a 25-19 win and a 3-0 sweep.
Stats were not available on Bound as of Friday morning, South Hamilton volleyball returns to action on Monday, when they travel to Des Moines to take on the Grand View Christian Thunder with first serve at 6:30 PM.
