Nydegger and Nohrenberg crowned Webster City High School Homecoming Queen and King Thursday night.

Ashley Nydegger and Beau Nohrenberg are the 2025 Webster City High School Homecoming Queen and King. The two were crowned during the Boom Night celebration at Prem Sahai Auditorium. Nydegger and Nohrenberg will reign over the Homecoming festivities today (Friday) and Saturday night. The other contestants for queen this year were Hailey Brim, Alivia Burns, Ellie Peterson and Allie Severe.This year’s king contestants were Dawson Bertran, Eli Estlund, Aiden Hrnicek and Carter Mickelson. The Boom Night festivities included appearances by the Webster City Lynx cheerleaders, skits, the fall athletic athletes for Cross Country, Football and Volleyball.and the Lynx Band. Homecoming today will feature the annual parade starting at West Twin Park at 2:30 p.m. The route will be the same as in past years leaving the park heading north on Seneca Street, turning west on Second Street and then south on Des Moines Street ending at the Webster City Middle School. The parade will feature floats, bands, the athletes, the Homecoming queen and king contestants, fire trucks and more.

The Lynx will face the Gilbert Tigers in the Homecoming football game at 7:00 tonight at Lynx Field. Tonight’s game will be broadcast live on KZWC AM 1570 and kqradio.com. The Homecoming celebration comes to an end with the annual dance Saturday night from 8:00 until 11:00 p.m. at the high school.
