LAKE MILLS — The Eagle Grove Eagles volleyball team returned to action on Thursday night, as they made the trip to far northern Iowa to take on the Lake Mills Bulldogs in Top of Iowa West action at Lake Mills High School. Eagle Grove entered at 4-9, while Lake Mills entered at 11-2.
Lake Mills would control the match from the start, taking set one by a score of 25-12, as Eagle Grove continued to battle, only falling in set 2 by a score of 25-15, but Lake Mills maintained control in set 3 for a 25-14 win and a 3-0 sweep.
Eagle Grove stats were not available as of Friday morning, Eagle Grove volleyball returns to action on Tuesday, when they host Garner-Hayfield-Ventura in Top of Iowa West action at Eagle Grove elementary with first serve at 7 PM.
