Two new police officers will be sworn in to their new duties with the local police force at this Monday evening’s meeting of the Webster City City Council. Matt Meyer and Mateo Martinez will be introduced by Webster City mayor John Hawkins. The council will consider resolutions for the purchase of a Filter Airwash Rotary Lobe Blower and from Schumacher Elevator Company for service elevator repairs for the Water Treatment Plant. A proposal from Grell Roofing for roof replacement at the Water Treatment Plant and Garage will be reviewed. The first reading for amending an ordinance on a Stormwater Utility will be on the agenda. A resolution to authorize and execute the waiver of right of the first refusal /right to purchase between the City of Webster City for controlled access facilities in the city plus other matter.
