STRATFORD- The next meeting for the Stratford City Council will be this Monday evening, September 15th at 7:00 in the Stratford City Hall. The council will meet with the Stratford Community Development Corporation to discuss a roofing grant and combined event for Trunk or Treat. There will be the setting of the date and time for Halloween Trick or Treat in Stratford. A motion to seek bids for the Lagoon Farm lease. The council will consider approving a request from Team Iowa Snowmobilers for the 2025-26 Winter Season Snowmobile Route in the incorporated limits of Stratford.
In other matters at Monday’s council meeting, they will begin the search for a new Deputy City Clerk. The 2025 summer season of the Stratford Outdoor Swimming Pool will be reviews. A discussion on the Stratford swimming pool leak will be on the agenda. Ordinances for trees, urban chickens, driveway regulations and nuisance abatement procedures will also be on Monday evening’s agenda plus other matters before the council.
