WEBSTER CITY-Shoppers of the Webster City True Value store learned this weekend that the store will be closing. Owners Jesse and Stacey Bannor released a letter on Saturday, September 6 stating that the store is closed until Tuesday, September 9th to prepare for a liquidation sale starting at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, September 10th.Items in the True Value store will be listed up to 50 percent off with the merchandise to be sold until everything is gone. All sales will be final. The closing of the store will be determined depending on the stock level of the store. The Bannors thanked the loyalty of the shoppers over the past few years. It was over a year ago in August,2024 that the city of Webster City approved a low-interest loan to Triple E Enterprises,LLC for $62,000 from the city’s new Economic Development Fund. Over the past year Triple E Enterprises installed new floors, painting and new rental equipment and paint departments in the store at 541 Second Street.
