JEWELL-An introduction to the new teaching staff for the 2025-26 school year will be a part of this Monday evening’s meeting of the South Hamilton Community School Board in Jewell. The board will hear from Garren Zanker on sponsoring a public speaker from the Peerman Group. A cooperative agreement with Northwest Missouri State University of Maryville will be reviewed for approval along with a consortium agreement with Des Moines Area Community College. There will be the approval for fund raisers and an out-of-state trip for the South Hamilton FFA to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis this fall. South Hamilton superintendent Heather Holm will present her report to the board. There will be an appointment for the board secretary/treasurer for 2025/26, the authorized signatories and depository resolution for 2025/26 and a review of personnel matters. This Monday’s meeting of the South Hamilton school board will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the junior senior high school board room in Jewell.
