Special meeting of the Webster City Community School Board is set for Wednesday evening, August 27th.

A special meeting of the Webster City Community School Board will be this (Wednesday) evening at 5:30 at the school administration office at 820 Des Moines Street in Webster City. There will be a public hearing on a proposal requesting support for Board action to petition the Governor and Iowa Legislature to fund public education at 5 percent annually and to cap income for ESA’s  (Education Savings Accounts) and to phase out the program over five years. The board will review contractual matters and consider fundraising requests plus other matters that may come before the board at Wednesday’s meeting.
