JEWELL- One of the agenda items at this Monday’s Jewell City Council meeting is a public hearing for a proposed water rate increase to 15 percent for businesses and residents in the community. There will be a recap of the 2025 season of the Jewell outdoor swimming pool season. The council will welcome Cody Robertson as a new member of the Jewell Fire and Rescue Department as he will be appointed. The date for a public hearing for the sale of lots on Park Street will be set. Plans for the 2025 Jewell City Council election will be discussed. The sale of property on Park Street will be presented to the council for a discussion plus other matters that may come before the council this Monday evening, August 25th at 7:00 in the Jewell City Hall.
