JEWELL- The August meeting for the South Hamilton Community School Board will be this Monday evening, August 11th at 6:00 in the junior/senior high school board room in Jewell. Monday’s agenda includes a look at the school handbook for 2025-26, review the school emergency operations plan and board policies. There will be a review of personnel matters including the acceptance of resignations and hiring recommendations. A contract amendment with Emergent Architecture will be presented for approval. South Hamilton superintendent Heather Holm will present her report on preparations for the August 25th opening day of classes. Hamilton County Conservation director Brian Lammers will appear before the board for a request for historical signage plus other matters that may come before the board on Monday evening.
