Webster City Hotel Motel Tax Board to hear presentations from previous grant recipients and finalists for funding on Wednesday,July 30th.

The Webster City Hotel Motel Tax Board will meet this Wednesday evening,July 30th at 6:30 in the Webster City City Council chamber. The board will hear presentations from previous grant recipients of Hotel Motel tax dollars. They include Arts R Alive for the downtown sculptures, HERO on the front brick work to the Webster Theater, LIFT WC for the Elks Building Phase 2 and 3 Rehab work and the DUB Sports Park on the indoor athletic facility. There will be presentations from representatives of the Arts R Alive group on the downtown sculptures, Kendall Young Library for rebranding and marketing for Library Designation, The DUB Sports Park, Incorporated on the indoor athletic facility and from Wilson Brewer Park and Depot Foundation on their sign, ADA bathrooms and train. The board will meet on Thursday, July 31st at 5:30 p.m. to determine final recommendations on projects and funding level to be presented to the City Council on August 18, 2025.
