A public hearing on the proposed issuance of approximately $7,500,000 in School Infrastructure Sales, Services and Use Tax Revenue Bond for the South Hamilton School District will be on the of the items at the Monday evening meeting of the South Hamilton School Board to begin at 6:00p.m. The board will consider open enrollment requests, fundraisers, consider membership dues for the Iowa Association of School Board, Iowa School Finance Information Services and Rural School Advocates. A STRIVE Academy agreement will be considered by the board.
The South Hamilton school board will look at school fees for the Fiscal Year 2026. A review of milk bids is on the board agenda. The South Hamilton school board will make appointments for a Title IX coordinator, Level One investigator, homeless coordinator and review the result of the district needs assessment. Resignations from staff and hiring recommendations will be made by the South Hamilton board. Superintendent Heather Holm will present her report to the board. Monday’s meeting will be at 6:00 in the school board room in Jewell.
