Seven ladies will compete for the title of Hamilton County Fair Queen. The contestants for this year’s contest were announced on Friday by the organizers of the contest. They are 17-year-old Kate Feltz of Webster City, 16-year-old Daytona Ferrie of Story City, 17-year-old Marissa Miller of Blairsburg, 18-year-old McKenna Miller of Stanhope, 17-year-old Abby Peterson of Webster City, 17-year-old Abby Richardson of Webster City and 17-year-old Avery Teague of Webster City. The new queen will be crowned at the fair grandstand on Wednesday,July 23rd. She will represent Hamilton County at the Iowa State Fair queen contest this August. The winner will succeed retiring Hamilton County Fair queen Emalie Perez at the July 23rd ceremony.
