The Webster City Police Department on Wednesday released the identities of the two individuals involved in the June 30th, 2025 death investigation. They are 30-year-old Ashley Harbert and 28-year-old Ryan Myers both of Webster City. The cause of death for both individuals remain pending, awaiting autopsy results from the Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner. The investigation remains ongoing. Webster City Police were dispatched to a residence located at 1201 James Street at 10:45 a.m. Upon arrival, the officers located two deceased adults at the property. Webster City Police was assisted at the scene by the Webster City Fire Department and the Hamilton County Medical Examiner’s Office in the investigation.
