The Iowa State Patrol investigated an accident involving a motorcycle and deer at 6:39 Saturday evening,June 28th at the 127 westbound mile marker of Highway 20 in Webster County south of Fort Dodge. Reportedly a westbound 2017 Kawasaki motorcycle operated by Gavin Watts of Webster City struck a deer crossing the highway at the time. Watts was transported to Unity Point Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge by the Otho EMS ambulance for treatment. Investigating trooper Bennett Eaton estimated the damage to the Watts motorcycle at $500 in the Saturday accident.
