Webster City Police were notified at mid-morning Monday of the bodies at two deceased adults inside the residence of 1201 James Street. Webster City Police Chief Steve Hansen said the cause of death remains under investigation. The identities of the deceased are being withheld until all family members are notified. At this time, investigators believe this is an isolated incident. There is no known threat to the general public. Webster City Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Webster City Fire Department and the Hamilton County Medical Examiner’s Office.
