A Bill Riley Talent Search contest is scheduled for Saturday, July 26th during the 2025 Hamilton County Fair in Webster City. The event will be on the Ed Prince Stage beginning at 4 pm. Bill Riley, Jr. will emcee our local event.
Competition includes a Senior division for ages 13 to 21 and a Sprout division for ages 2 to 12. The winner from each age group qualifies to participate in the annual Iowa State Fair Talent Search in Des Moines.
Vocalists, dancers and instrumentalists are encouraged to participate. There are no categories for combos, rock bands or similar musical groups. There is no cost to enter.
Local chairperson is Tennie Carlson, Hamilton County Fair Board member from Stratford.
Registration forms are now available online, Hamcoexpo.com or at the Fair office. Entries are due by July 14th and may be mailed or made in person at the Secretary’s Office on the Hamilton County Fairgrounds.
