
An update on Second Street Structures will be one of Monday evening’s topics of the Webster City City Council meeting. The meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. in the city council chambers. The council will discuss Hamilton County Fair funding through the Webster City Hotel/Motel program. Two public hearings will be set by the council. The first one is for off-street parking request with the second hearing for controlled access facilities. The date of July 21st will be set for a public hearing on the proposed plans and specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost for the construction of the 2025 Chip Seal Program. There will be a resolution approving the final plat of Lynx Development Number 2 in Webster City.
The Webster City City Council will have the second reading of four ordinances. The first one is for the discharge of fireworks. The second is for the Set Off program, the third ordinance is for the new rates for electrical energy sold by the city of Webster City and the fourth is for the solar energy systems within the corporate limits of Webster City.
There will be a public hearing at 6:05 Monday evening at city hall to enter into a General Obligation Corporate Purpose Loan Agreement. The council will appoint Carolyn Cross as a member of the Webster City Planning and Zoning Commission. Linda Conaway and Jamie Seiser will be appointed to the Webster City Hotel Motel Tax Board. Diane Knudsen will be appointed to the Webster City Airport Commission. The terms of all four individuals will expire May 31,2029.
