The Jewell City Council will take action on the resignation of council member Loyal Winborn at their next meeting this Monday evening at 7:00 in the Jewell City Council chambers. Winborn’s current term on the council expires at the end of this year of 2025. The council will announce plans to find his replacement during the meeting. The council will meet with its public works department for a look at wells quotes and a 3-point mower for the city of Jewell. A survey from MIDAS will be reviewed by council members. In other matters, the Jewell City Council will receive an invoice from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department and a discussion on utility rates plus other matters.
