An Omaha motorist escaped injury in an accident late Monday morning on Highway 20 at the 173 mile marker in Hardin County. The Iowa State Patrol reported an eastbound 2025 model Chevrolet pickup truck operated by Pedro Sanches Torres of Omana was pulling a 2015 model utility trailer blew a tire. The trailer came unattached from the truck and rolled over blocking both lanes of eastbound traffic. The damage to the truck and trailer was estimated at $7000. Iowa State Patrol trooper Benjamin Gunderson investigated Monday’s accident.
