
The next meeting of the Webster City City Council will be this Monday evening, June 2nd at 6:00 in the city council chambers. The council will set the date of June 16th for a public hearing on a proposal to enter into a General Obligation Corporate Purchase Loan Agreement and to borrow money thereunder. There will be the first reading of an ordinance pertaining to solar energy systems within the corporate limits of Webster City. Similar ordinances with their first readings Monday will be for the discharge of fireworks in the city to be restricted, debts subject to the Set Off Program and for the establishment of new rates to be charged for Electrical Energy Sold by the City of Webster City. The council will of the submission of an Iowa Economic Development Authority Application to the Workforce Housing Tax Credit Program by HQ Homes LLC and for Quirk Investments, LLC. In other matters, the Webster City City Council will appoint Lynn Jaycox, Shelby Kroona and Steve Struchen to the Webster City Zoning Board of Adjustment. There will be a discussion of the Ag Academy Permit Fees plus other matters that may come before the Webster City City Council.
