At their Tuesday morning meeting, the Hamilton County Supervisors met with Nick Brown of RWE Clean Energy from Chicago on plans for another wind/solar turbine project in the eastern part of Hamilton County into portions of Hardin County. The firm will be busy negotiating with the landowners for the installation of upwards of 30 to 40 turbines. RWE Energy has been involved in other projects in the state. This would be the third wind turbine project for Hamilton County if all goes to plan. Other turbine facilities are located near Stratford and Blairsburg. The new wind turbine facility would be operational by late 2027-28. Further work between Hamilton County and RWE will be taking place in the coming months.
In personnel matters the Hamilton County Supervisors accepted resignations from Meredith Hudson and Bailey Walters from the Briggs Woods Conference Center.
