With the observance of Memorial Day this Monday, May 26 ,there will be closings of note for the holiday. Many area businesses will be closed for the day. All financial institutions and professional offices will be closed for Memorial Day. The Hamilton County Courthouse,all county offices and the Webster City Municipal Building will be closed for the day on Monday. You will not be receiving your mail on Monday from all area post offices. No city or rural delivery of mail on Monday. The Webster City post office box lobby will be open as usual but the customer service will be closed. If you need a postage stamp, you may purchase one from the grocery and convenience stores. Mail service will resume on Tuesday,May 27th. Kendall Young Library will close at 6 this Friday evening for the holiday weekend until 10 on Tuesday morning. There will be no school on Monday in the school districts of the area. Classes will resume on Tuesday in the Webster City and Roland Story school districts. Eagle Grove will end the school year on Tuesday,May 27th.
