Drug Arrest Made by Webster City Police after a Search Warrant.

Following a lengthy investigation into suspected drug trafficking activity, the Webster City Police Department executed a search warrant at a resident located at 1030 Third Street. The operation let to the arrest of one individual and the seizure of a significant amount of illegal narcotics and firearms. On Thursday, May 22nd, Webster City Police Officers with assistance from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, executed the search warrant at the residence. During the search, officers discovered distribution quantities of marijuana and cocaine. Additional substances, including ecstasy and various prescription pills, were also located and seized. Several firearms were recovered from the residence as well. As a result of Thursday’s search, 30-year-old Dalton Jamison Keith Smith was taken into custody. Smith was charged with multiple drug-related offenses. Further charges related to the illegal possession of firearms are pending.  The investigation is continuing by Webster City Police Department.
