Webster City girls soccer falls at home to Clear Lake, 4-1

The Webster City Lynx girls soccer team returned to action on Tuesday evening, as they hosted the Clear Lake Lions in a North Central Conference makeup match at Lynx Field in Webster City. Webster City entered Tuesday at 5-6-1, while Clear Lake entered at 7-5-2.

The second half saw Clear Lake spring to life, tallying 4 goals in the frame including 2 from senior Zoe Koontz, 1 from senior Addison Jones and 1 from freshman Tatum Hosmer. Clear Lake would also shutout the Lynx in the 2nd half as Clear Lake claimed a 4-1 victory.
