
The Webster City Lynx boys golf team returned to action on Friday, as they competed in the Elite Showdown Tournament at Legacy Golf Course in Mason City, hosted by Clear Lake. Webster City was joined by the host Lions, as well as ADM, Holmen (MN), Humboldt, Pella, Rosemount (MN), Waverly Shell-Rock, West Delaware.
Webster City would place 8th in a highly competitive field with a 323 (+35), two strokes behind Clear Lake and 5 strokes behind Humboldt. Senior Cole Miller was the top scorer, shooting a 78 (+6) and tying for 21st. Junior Dawson Bertran tied for 30th and shot an 80 (+8), sophomore Coyce Bertran tied for 34th and shot an 82 (+10), while senior Luke Firsching would tied for 40th with an 83 (+11).
Webster City boys golf returns to action on Monday, when they travel back to Mason City to compete in the 2025 North Central Conference Meet at Legacy Golf Course.
