The next Stanhope City Council meeting will be this Tuesday evening at 6:00 in the Stanhope Community Center. The council will set May 27th at 6:00 p.m. for a public hearing to amend Stanhope’s city budget. The council will meet with Justin Malloy of Town and Country Insurance. A new garbage contract for Stanhope will be reviewed for approval starting July 1st,2025. The council will consider a quote from Dave Berg Consulting LLC for a quote for an electric utility rate study. The property update from Carlyle Peterson will be reviewed by the Stanhope City Council. Building permits for 565 Alfred Street and the 911 Corner Market for street signs will be reviewed for approval plus other matters.
