The Webster City Lynx boys golf team returned to action on Thursday, as they hosted the Lynx Invite at Briggs Woods Golf Course in Webster City. The Lynx were joined by Ballard, Charles City, Central Springs, Estherville-Lincoln Central, Gilbert, Hampton-Dumont-CAL, Iowa Falls-Alden, Nevada and North Polk.
Webster City would place 4th in the meet with a team score of 326 (+38), as senior Luke Firsching had the top Lynx score, tying for 11th with a 78 (+6). Junior Dawson Bertran tied for 17th and shot an 80 (+8), senior Cael Nixon finished 20th and shot an 82 (+10), as senior Cole Miller tied for 27th and shot an 86 (+14) to round out scoring.
Ballard would win the meet with a team score of 303 (+15), as Gilbert was 2nd with a 313 (+25).
