The next meeting for the Stratford City Council will be Monday evening, May 12 at 7:00 in the Stratford City Hall. Monday’s agenda includes a public hearing to amend the 2025 fiscal year budget. The Stratford Community Development Corporation will have an update on the Stratford on The Loose celebration in July,upkeep on buildings and a $3000 invoice for the 2025-26 fiscal year. There will be an update on playground equipment in the city park, a discussion on an urban chicken and a tree ordinance for Stratford, and a discussion on the Swedish Historical Society property. A noise permit for a celebration at the Copperhead Saloon for July 5th will be considered for approval. The council will consider a request from Boone Tropical Snow to set up their stand at the Stratford Outdoor pool a few times during the summer plus other matters.
