Another successful Friends of St. Thomas Aquinas School Ball was held last Saturday evening, May 3rd at the Parish Center in Webster City. The event is the annual fund raiser for the school adjacent to St. Thomas Aquinas Church. The evening featured food, raffle, contests, live and silent auction items. and music for dancing the night away. One of the highlights of the evening was the recognition of Judy Wagner of Carroll with the Friends of St. Thomas Aquinas School Award. She was a long-time teacher at the school until 2020. Heidi Tesdahl was recognized Saturday night for her serving on the board committee. The evening benefit raised $231,000 to help support the school. Work will begin on planning next year’s St. Thomas Aquinas School Ball in the coming weeks.
