At a special meeting this week,the South Hamilton Community School Board approved the district’s budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year. The maximum property tax rate for the 2026 fiscal year is at $13.65 per thousand. The new rate will take effect on July 1,2025. The South Hamilton board approved the District Career and Academic Plan. South Hamilton superintendent Heather Holm says the plan is a roadmap for implementation of the career and academic planning process. The plan provides creates the framework for each student’s Individual Career and Academic Plan process.
In personnel matters, the South Hamilton School Board approved the resignation of Tiffany Meier for Junior High Volleyball Coach. The board accepted the hiring for Allyson Mulford as a 5th Grade Teacher and Junior High Volleyball Coach and Julia Ripple as a 4th Grade Teacher. The hirings are pending licensure and a background check. The hirings will be for the 2025-26 school year.
