The Eagle Grove Eagles girls golf team returned to action on Thursday, as they hosted the Belmond-Klemme Broncos and West Hancock Eagles in Top of Iowa Conference action at Eagle Grove Golf Course.
Eagle Grove would win the meet with a team score of 206 (+62), as their top scorer was senior Kennedy Thacker, who shot a 49 (+13) and claimed the individual title. Freshman Azlyn Amonson placed 2nd and shot a 50 (+14), while fellow freshman Salem Willard placed 4th and shot a 52 (+16). Senior Piper Willard rounded out scoring in 5th with a 55 (+19).
Eagle Grove girls golf returns to action on Saturday, when they compete in Clarion-Goldfield-Dows 18-Hole Tournament at Clarmond Country Club, beginning at 9 AM.
