Roland-Story girls golf wins Dike-New Hartford 18-hole Tournament

The Roland-Story Norsemen girls golf team returned to action on Monday, as they made the drive east into Grundy County to compete in the Dike-New Hartford 18-Hole Tournament at Fox Ridge Golf Course in Dike. The Norsemen were joined by the host Wolverines, as well as Crestwood, North Fayette Valley, South Winneshiek and West Fork.

Roland-Story would win the tournament with a team score of 357 (+69), as junior Brinley Carlson captured the individual title by shooting an 82 (+10). Senior Brooke Thompson would place 3rd and shoot an 86 (+14), freshman Hadley Carlson would tie for 5th and shoot a 93 (+21), as senior Isabel Hoskins rounded out scoring by placing 8th and shooting a 96 (+24).

Roland-Story girls golf returns to action on Tuesday, when they compete in a West Marshall 18-Hole Tournament at Lincoln Valley Golf Course in State Center at 2 PM.
