Webster City city council to meet Monday evening,February 19.

The next Webster City city council meeting will be this Monday evening, February 19 at 6:00 p.m. in the city council chambers. The council will hear from Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce director Anna Woodward on chamber activities, approve a resolution for the Webster City Police Department work agreement for 2024-27 and approving the execution of the same by the city manager.
The Webster City city council will authorize the Webster City Community Development Director to seek bids for the demolition of an unsafe property acquired and authorizing the interim city manager to sign and execute an agrement with the lowest responsible bidder in an amount not to exceed $25,000.Another resolution on Monday’s agenda is to execute a Letter of Agreement between Corn Belt Power Cooperative and the City of Webster City and North Iowa Municipal Electric Cooperative Association. A public hearing will be set at 6:05 p.m. for the proposed plans and specifications ,form of contract and estimate of cost to purchase Three 69 kV Circuit Breakers needed for the Reisner Substation. Teh council will enter into a closed session to discuss the purchase or sale of particular real estate in the city.
