Ness secures $15,000 grant from Farm Credit Services for South Hamilton Schools.

South Hamilton High School is pleased to announce that Mr. Carlton Ness, Agriculture teacher, has successfully secured a $15,000 grant from Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica). This grant will be utilized to purchase updated welding equipment, providing invaluable resources for students pursuing careers in Agricultural Manufacturing. This equipment will aid in creating a conducive learning environment for students to develop practical skills that are in high demand within the agricultural sector.

The grant was approved after a rigorous evaluation process by the FCSAmerica grant review team. The award letter states, “The grant review team was impressed with your organization’s efforts to make a positive difference in the community.”

This financial support will enhance the educational experience for South Hamilton CSD students, equipping them with the necessary tools and skills to excel in the field of Agricultural Manufacturing. The grant aligns with the school’s commitment to fostering excellence in agriculture education and preparing students for successful careers in the industry.
