The final meeting for 2023 for the Webster City Community School Board will be this Monday evening, December 11 at 6:00 at the school administration office at 820 Des Moines Street. The board will formally welcome the newly elected board members with a swearing in ceremony and the election of a new board president and vice president for the 2024 year with a swearing in ceremony to follow. There will be a thank you to honor the retiring board members this Monday. The Webster City school board will have a look at contractual issues. One of the most nortable will be the formal acceptance of Bob Howard’s resignation as head football coach with Andy Brim to succeed Howard as head football coach next season. .
Other agenda items at Monday’s Webster City school board meeting will be the consideration of annual policy reviews,the approval of fund raising requests and donations, a look at board policies, and an update by superintendent Matt Berninghaus plus other matters before the school board.
