The Webster City Fire Department was dispatached to a report of a possible house fire at around 10 Sunday night at 1205 Second Street.Fire chief Chuck Stansfield reported smoke and flames were coming from the second floor of the home when fire trucks arrived. A search team began a primary search of all floors, After the primary search was completed, the house was clear. Chief Stansfield said the fire was quickly brought under control. During the investigation ,the origin of Sunday night’s fire appeared to be on the first floor in a wall cavity. The cause of the fire is undetermined. No injuries were reported.
