The Eagle Grove Eagles volleyball team returned to action on Thursday night, as they made the long trip into Winnebago County to take on the Lake Mills Bulldogs in Top of Iowa West action. Eagle Grove entered with a record of 1-9, while Lake Mills entered at 5-3.
Lake Mills would come out of the gate with a 25-14 win over the Eagles, before really taking control in the 2nd set, winning by a dominant 25-11 margin. The Eagles would battle back in the 3rd set, but ultimately fell by a score of 25-14, falling in the match 3-0.
Eagle Grove dropped to 1-10 with the loss, they return to action on Monday when they host St. Edmond at 7:30 PM at Eagle Grove Elementary School.
