The Hamilton County Peace Officers Association honored the family of Austin “Melvin” Richardson in a ceremony Saturday morning at the Briggs Woods Golf Course south of Webster City. Over 35 teams are competing in the golf event to raise funds for the family of Richardson. Austin Richardson died of injuries in an accident in Fremont County in June,2022.The Association presented gifts to the family of Richardson before the day of golf. An auction and meal will be held at the Briggs Woods Golf Course this evening.
