Enhance Hamilton County announcing latest SEED Catalyst Fund grants.

The Enhance Hamilton County Foundation has announced that they awarded out $20,386 in Hamilton County SEED Catalyst Fund grants for second quarter 2023 to the following recipients:
Stratford Library (Stratford) – digital archives – $1,000
Stanhope Depot (Stanhope) – painting – $1,900
Jewell Golf Course (Jewell) – course improvements/repairs – $5,486
South Hamilton Youth Sports (Jewell) – softball/baseball field addition – $12,000
This grant is awarded to businesses or organizations that are looking to create an impact through economic development and/or community betterment in the communities of Ellsworth, Jewell, Stanhope, and Stratford. The maximum amount that can be awarded for each grant is $12,000 or 40% of the project total, whichever is less.
A grant review committee consisting of representatives from the four communities and the county reviews the applications and makes their recommendation to the EHCF Board for the distribution of funds.
Applications are awarded quarterly and due at the end of each quarter to be considered for that quarter’s grants. The next grant deadline is September 30, 2023. This grant program is separate from the Enhance Hamilton County Annual Grant Program.
