Webster City and area prepare to celebrate the 4th with a number of closings Tuesday.

TUESDAY WILL BRING A NUMBER OF CLOSINGS IN THE KQWC LISTENING AREA IN THE OBSERVANCE OF THE INDEPENDENCE DAY HOLIDAY. A MAJORITY OF AREA BUSINESSES WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE HOLIDAY. ALL FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS AND PROFESSIONAL OFFICES WILL BE CLOSED TUESDAY FOR THE INDEPENDENCE DAY HOLIDAY. THERE WILL BE NO CITY OR RURAL DELIVERY OF MAIL TUESDAY. THE WEBSTER CITY POST OFFICE BOX LOBBY WILL BE OPEN FOR THE BENEFIT OF BOX HOLDERS BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WINDOW WILL BE CLOSED TUESDAY. MAIL SERVICE WILL RESUME ON WEDNESDAY. IF YOU NEED A STAMP YOU MAY BUY ONE AT THE WEBSTER CITY GROCERY AND CONVENIENCE STORES. THE WEBSTER CITY MUNICIPAL BUILDING WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE POLICE STATION WILL BE CLOSED FOR THE FOURTH. THE HAMILTON COUNTY COURTHOUSE AND ALL COUNTY OFFICES WILL BE CLOSED AS WELL.
THE WEBSTER CITY OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOL WILL OBSERVE SPECIAL HOURS ON TUESDAY WITH ADULT LAP SWIMMING FROM 11:30 UNTIL 1:00 P.M. AND OPEN SWIMMING FOR THE PUBLIC FROM ONE UNTIL FOUR TUESDAY AFTERNOON WITH THE POOL TO CLOSE FOR THE DAY AT 4:00 P.M.
KENDALL YOUNG LIBRARY WILL BE CLOSED ON INDEPENDENCE DAY.
