Information on a two vehicle accident west of Ogden on Friday morning on Highway 30 at E Avenue was released Saturday by the Iowa State Patrol. Reportedly a 2012 Toyota Corolla car driven by Erik Ross Creger of Boone failed to yield the right of way while turning left from Highway 30 westbound to E Avenue in Boone County. A 2020 Peterbuilt straight truck driven by Nathan Alllan Phippen of Coon Rapids impacted the right side of the Creger car on the eastbound lane of Highway 30. Creger was transported to Unity Point Iow Methodist Hospital by Lifeflight helicopter for treatment of his injuries. Iowa State trooper Matt Papin along with other area law enforcement agencies investigated the Friday morning accident.
