The situation with the Webster City Outdoor Swimming Pool will be addressed at this Thursday’s meeting of the Webster City Park and Recreation Commission. The pool remains closed until further notice due to pieces of glass discovered inside the pool late last week. Pool staff have spent the past few days addressing the issue by draining the pool,cleaning and disinfecting it and refilling the pool. It is hoped the pool will reopen soon. There will be updates on the Boone River Trail and the summer programs offered at Fuller Hall and other recreational areas in Webster City. Thursday’s meeting will begin at 5:15 in the Sampson Room at Fuller Hall at Bank and Des Moines Streets.
