Fort Dodge Police responded to reports of a male that had been shot on Christmas morning, at the 1000 block of 10th Avenue Southwest in Fort Dodge. When officers arrived, they found the male unresponsive and the victim was soon pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified as 46-year-old Montreail Dungy of Fort Dodge, the Fort Dodge Police Department urges anyone with information about the shooting to contact Fort Dodge Police or Webster County Crime Stoppers.
Fort Dodge Police was assisted by the Webster County Sheriff’s Office, the Fort Dodge Fire Department, the Webster County Attorney’s Office and the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation.
