The weather is getting colder and there’s snow on the ground. That means Christmas is around the corner and there are several families in need. The Webster City Police Department is again holding its BLUE Christmas program for those families in need so that everyone can have a happy holiday season. B.L.U.E. (Blue Light Uniformed Events) has been in operations for the last several years and has successfully spread the holiday cheer with the help of the community.
The Webster City Police Department will be accepting donations to purchases gifts for local students as part of the BLUE Christmas event. Members of the police department will be shopping for the kids, collecting items on their lists, and hosting a Christmas party for all of the families. This is a time to enjoy one another’s company and make everyone’s holidays a little brighter.
If you would like to make a contribution to this event, monetary donations can be dropped off at the Webster City Police Department or the Webster City Utility Office drop box. In addition, donations can be mailed to the following address:
